Apologies for the delay in writing. I took off to Brittany with Krista to do some househunting and since then I haven't been inspired to do much more than watch reality TV. And ah, how perfect that just as the American Idol season ends (Carrie? WTF?) the UK Big Brother season begins.

I've actually been busy as well, working on websites for some friends and getting ready to move forward with a new business idea here in Paris. And now, the annual French visa renewal season is coming upon us and I have to get moving on that before all of Paris takes off to the beach for the summer.

Just settling in to watch the UK election returns. BBC/ITV initial exit polls suggest a Labour government with 66 seat majority, Labour polling at 37%, Tories at 33%, Lib Dems at 22%.

It will be interesting over the course of the night to see how accurate this is, especially since we won't really know until 4am Paris time. They say this won't bode well for Tony Blair's standing in the Labour party, losing 100 seats from their majority. Who knows. Stay tuned for more updates.
